Straightening hair to a sexy finish?

Hi there, okay i wash my hair most mornings, blow dry it and apply sunsilk sleek and straight stuff and apply some heat protection spray then i straighten my hair. it looks pretty neat after i've done but one gust of wind and its all kinky again. i always see girls walking around town with "perfect hair" for example each strand of straightended hair is not seperate (like mine goes) its like all together in a smooth finish.

i really like the look but i'm not sure how to do it, my hairs in pretty good condition i get it cut every six weeks and i don't mind buying some new products to style it with but dont know what i need.

i'm trying to make myself look more girly and grown up

Elnette or treseme hairspray. Spray on lightly after straightening, it does wonders.

try putting less product in your hair. even though it may help you hair get straight, it won't make your hair look silky or soft. sometimes products can make hair look sticky, and i'm assuming thats not what you want. instead, i would try putting a straightening balm in your hair BEFORE you blow dry it, so that the heat and air from the dryer will make your hair less sticky and oily (which is causing it to not look smooth and silky).

After you blow dry it you should take your hair and get a peice put some grease on it and straigten it out and keep doing it to the rest of your hair.... TThis works for me, it can deiitely work for you

I dont know what they use, maybe they use really good straighteners like ghd's or something to set their hairstyle in place like hairspray or serum.

get a PIN STRAIGHT hair straightener by Conair my hair is ssooooo curly and it really does make my hair pin straight and if you add dove hair spray and it should stay

Try and straighten it in more layers. It will take a bit longer but it'll stay straighter. Also, take a brush with you wherever you go. Using less products may help too.

Use a heat defence product that will add shine to hair while protecting your hair like...Lee stafford poker straight spray or frizz ease straightening spray.Use a GHD or some other good straightener...this is the key!(like Remington)

My hair always straightens well,looks shiny and healthy with these products.

Its good that you keep your hair in good condition and get it trimmed every 6 weeks.I'm too lazy that way!!!

Use a good conditioner say from Tresemme or L'oreal......goes a long way.

Get ghds.

I have really curly hair and since I bought ghds, my hair is never kinky after I straighten it.

Also, apply hair serum when your hair is about 80% dry then carry on blow drying it.
