Once you hit mid 30's, if you don't konw how to dress by now, i think it is too late. You should work to develop your mind that way you can get a great job and then buy love.

I think the denim crop pants with the cuff are very cute and you can either dress them up with a cami and some heels or down w/ flip flops and a tee. Being in your mid 30's I would say a hairstyle for short hair would be like Martina McBrides. If you perfer long hair something like Kelly Rippa would look nice but maybe not such a harsh blonde. Less really is more.

straight skirts with a frilly V-neck shirt

professional suits in pastel shades and matched accessories

though it would depend on your body type, when ur away from work, anything with clean cuts will look great.

As for the hair, again, a clean cut would do great.....nothing too garish or in-ur-face salon done.
