Sexy makeover?
Firstly, you need to get a good base for your makeup. You don't say what skin type you have (dry, oily, combination or normal). I would say find a good foundation suited to your skin type which matches your skin colour exactly. I would recommend Maybelline Matte Mousse. Use a tinted moisturiser to give your cheeks a fresh, dewy glow. Apply concealer lightly to cover an blemishes or bags under your eyes. Dust on a little bronzer or blusher to give you a lift.
For your eyes, a brown or black pencil eyeliner is best. Apply on your lash line, and extend to just past the end of your lash line on the outer corner of your eyes. Make the line slightly darker and thicker in the outer corner. Curl your lashes using an eyelash curler, then apply a brown/black mascara such as Maxfactor Masterpiece Mascara - it's the best on the market.
You might want to try a mascara in tones such as brown, taupe, grey, silver or green. Be subtle, don't apply it too heavily. Make the eyeshadow darkest in the outside corner (like the eyeliner) as this makes your eyes appear bigger and brighter.
For your lips, a clear lipgloss is probably best, or you might want to try a lipgloss with a colour such as pink or red.
For more ideas, you might want to look at celebs or models, and see which looks work - and which don't!!!

since u already have sort of a dark complection i wouldnt wear a lot of base and powder....theres really no sense in it....i think that light shimmery colors like pink and white and a really light green would go great with ur eyes....since they are already big....it wont make them stand out...it will just be soft and subtle look....but sexy

Sexy makeover?
aerosol foundation for a nice, even base without being 'cakey'
non-shine packed powder (apply with a blush brush) all over - this anchors your foundation and any creme-to-powder eyeshadows or blushes you want to use
any kind of brick or offshoot brown blush
expeirament with jewel tones on the lid and neutrals from the browbone down for your eyes
(you can try anything in gold because of your skin)
Black liner and masc. offset your hair nicely (lucky you, this is the ideal 'eye look' that most people try for, but can't pull off sucessfully)
Lips: go for a 'uni-look' lip pencil: one shade darker than your lips that you can use with any colro of lipstick. line ryour natural edges and 'push' the color inward on the lip to soften the line, creme textured lipstick in lighter red/browns or darker brown'pinks and a clear gloss liner make for 'full and kissable' as guys say.
get some samples, or ask to get into your freind's makeup and find your favorites, keep a notebook and write down what works for you and why. Also, if you're wanting to change your look you might consider a new hair style.
