my hair is quite long and black... my job requires me to have hair up... i dont want a pony tail or a bun!

i want something sexy... any suggestions?

I'm useless when it comes to this type of thing so i need plenty of help from the ladies. Or men stylists lol.

i quite like the way beyonce has her hair up on her cd cover... so something like that... but HOW is my question... ive tried using hair bands and twisting etc but i just cant do it :(

Hello there, I'm a hairdresser and i find the best way to put your hair up is with a banana clip, you open the clip and drag your hair up either side, fasten the clip underneath and you hair will cascade either side of your head... try leaving a small strip of hair either side of your ears down, and maybe make a nice spiral shape with curling tongs.. Claire's accessories have some lovely hair slides and pieces..

An easy way too do it is pull it back like it just going to be a pony tail.. put a plain elastic band in it to hold it there.. then flip up your pony tail and arrange different pieces and hold them by bobby pins.. you can do a million different looks if you try this method.. by having straight pieces or curly pieces.. and everytime you do it, it will look a little different because of where you place the pieces and the bobby pins

How about just go for the basic ponytail, because that's easy and cute, but then to spice up your look, get bangs! Or... "a fringe," as you would say! I used to have the same problem- my hair looked so boring pulled back everyday, but once I got bangs, it just looked more interesting. Then (optinal) put one thin strand of hair on each side of the pulled back hair in the middle

Then put all your hair back in a pony tail ( except for the optanail strands)
